IS HOMESCHOOLING A GOOD JOB? by Fiza's Blog

Today I will talk about homeschooling. Why do we need homeschooling? How can homeschooling be done? Is homeschooling suitable for students?

Home means "the place where we live" and school means "the place of learning." So homeschooling gives us a new meaning "learning at home."

But the important question arises here, is homeschooling a meaningful choice? But before answering the question I want to explain why is there need of homeschooling? There are several reasons beyond this.

Let me explain an example so that you can understand. The students sometimes don't like the combination of subjects. They like science subjects as well as art subjects too. Science subjects include Maths, Physics, Biology and Chemistry. Some students like math and they don't like physics but along with math he/she has to study physics too. This makes a student's interest vanish from studies and a student can't focus on what they want to achieve. This is my personal experience too. The other reason is peer bullying: the students having any disability have to survive with bullying. This develops in them the feeling of fear or fright due to which students go into depression. Another reason is the burden from school due to which students get tired and lose their confidence level.

We discussed the reasons about why do we need homeschooling but our other question is how homeschooling can be done.

Homeschooling is not an easy task. It needs a lot of effort and it is also a time-consuming task. First, you need to decide a proper plan and after that set a curriculum according to that plan. If parents are teaching their children then they have to pay full attention to them. A proper environment is necessary for a child who is homeschooled so he can study well!

Everything has its positive and negative impact. Similarly, homeschooling also contains positive and negative sides.

There are many positive sides of homeschooling. Due to homeschooling, the child spends more time with his/her parents and siblings who develop feelings of love and devotion in them. Students have the freedom to learn the subject of his/her interest in full depth. They don't have to follow any rules and regulations as the requirement in any traditional school. Students can remain safe from peers' bullying.

Now we are discussing its negative sides. Homeschooling also contains harmful sides. The major one is the socialization. Students get less socialized as compared to their fellows studying in conventional schools. Human beings are social animals and they need socialization for their survival. Without socialization, their life becomes a difficult journey. Moreover, homeschooling is a very time-consuming task. It's a full-time duty and it is not an easy job. It requires a lot of effort and it's time demanding work. It is also an expensive one because money is needed for curricular and extracurricular activities and students need equipment for further activities too.

Homeschooling is not an easy job at all: the line is still blurred between whether it can be done or not.

What do you think about it? Tell me about your reviews in the comments section.
